About us
Founded over 17 years ago by the inspiring Socorro Fernandez, Latinos’ Agenda has been a pillar of strength and support in Bridgeport, CT, dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering positive change across diverse cultures and the entire community.
Latinos’ Agenda is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the Latino community by providing essential resources, advocating for equal opportunities, and fostering empowerment through education, legal support, housing assistance, and community outreach. Our mission is to build a stronger, more inclusive future where every individual has the tools to thrive.

Citizenship Classes
Our founder proudly assisted a client in achieving their U.S. citizenship.
Community Outreach
A community event dedicated to providing essential health information to the elderly population.
Collaboration
Meaningful collaboration with IMG Unity, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering international medical graduates and supporting their journey in the medical field.
Our Projects
Bridge of Stability
Aiding the homeless community in rejoining society, providing mental and physical support, finding higher education programs, and providing necessities ( e.g., food, personal hygiene products, etc. ).
CitizenReady
An 8-week course provided by Latinos’ Agenda that focuses on classes, immigration tests, paperwork, transportation to official tests, and fees.
AidEase
Support clients with filling out government applications ( e.g., Section 8, Food stamps, etc. ), translating, and submitting paperwork.
Right Path
Aiding clients when legal assistance is required, connecting clients with appropriate legal representation, and translating.
Settle & Support
We assist clients in finding apartments and provide household necessities ( Furniture, appliances, utilities, and basic needs).
Senior Strong
Supporting the Bridgeport elderly community with necessities, health care transportation, and translation for Spanish-speaking clients.
